BeSpotlight puts on comedy nights, speed dating and club nights in Canterbury’s best independent rooms. We programme them, promote them, sell the tickets and stand on the door. If you have a space in Canterbury or Kent, a night or an act, tell us about it.
What we bring
- We run the whole nightWe programme it, promote it to the people already following us, and staff the door. There is no system for you to learn and no admin login to keep.
- One box office, no booking feesGuests pay the price they see — no fees bolted on at checkout. Tickets, refunds and the guest list are ours to handle, by email and by phone.
- You know who’s comingEvery ticket is a scanned QR code on the night, so the count on the door is real. You get the numbers afterwards, not a guess.

We build it and sell it
Artwork, ticket types and the event page, then the promotion behind it. You approve how the night is described.
We’re on the door
Tickets scanned on the night, our people on the door with yours, and the attendance numbers after.
Straight talk
BeSpotlight is one organiser’s own box office, not a ticketing platform. There are no organiser logins here, no self-serve event builder and no dashboard to learn. We build and sell every night ourselves, and that is exactly why there is no booking fee on top of a ticket.
So this page is an introduction, not a sign-up. Every night is agreed with us first, and anything commercial is agreed directly between us before a ticket goes on sale.
We would rather say that now than have you find it out later. If you want a platform to list your own events on and run yourself, we are honestly not it — and we will say so in the reply rather than waste your week.
