Ticket terms

What you agree to when you buy a ticket from us — and, just as importantly, what we owe you.

Last updated 8 September 2026

1. Who you are buying from

Tickets on this site are sold by BeSpotlight Ltd, Basement, 36 St. Margaret’s Street, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2TG. You can reach us at support@bespotlight.co.uk. Buying a ticket forms a contract between you and us for admission to the event named on it.

2. The price you see is the price you pay

Every price shown is the total you pay, including VAT where it applies. We do not add booking fees, service charges or any other extra at any point in the checkout. If a price is ever displayed incorrectly we will contact you before taking payment, and you can cancel without charge.

3. Your ticket

We email your tickets to the address you give at checkout, each with its own QR code. A screenshot or a printout is fine at the door.

Each ticket admits one person, once. The first time a ticket is scanned it stops working, so please do not share or forward it — whoever presents it first will be admitted, and we cannot help the second person.

4. Refunds and exchanges

We cannot refund you because your plans changed. Tickets are for a dated event, so the 14-day cancellation right that applies to most online purchases does not apply here. Please be sure before you buy.

This does not affect your legal rights if something goes wrong on our side, and it does not apply to the situations in the next section.

5. If we cancel, move or materially change an event

If we cancel an event, you get a full refund in cash — back to the card you paid with, automatically, without you having to ask. We will never require you to accept a credit or a voucher instead. If we ever offer one, you are free to decline it and take the money.

If we move an event to a different date or venue, or change it so significantly that it is not what you booked, you may keep your ticket or ask us for a full refund.

6. Age limits and ID

Some events are 18+ or operate a Challenge 21 or Challenge 25 policy — this is shown on the event page, in your ticket email and on the ticket itself. Where it applies, the door will ask for valid photo ID. No ID means no entry, and no refund. Please check before you travel.

7. Getting in, and being asked to leave

Please arrive before any last-entry time shown on your ticket; after it, the venue may refuse admission and we cannot refund you.

The venue may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who is intoxicated, behaving unsafely or breaching the venue’s own conditions of entry. No refund is due in those circumstances.

8. Things outside our control

We are not responsible for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Where such an event means we cannot run the night at all, we will cancel it and refund you in full under the section above.

9. Your personal information

We ask for a name, an email address and a phone number, and nothing more. How we handle them is set out in our privacy policy. Marketing emails are only sent if you tick the box at checkout, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
